Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This page explains exactly what happens to the data involved when you use this TikTok downloader. The short version: we do not ask you to sign in, we do not keep the links you paste, and we never write your media to disk.

What we process

What we do not do

MP3 conversion happens on your device

When you convert a video to MP3, the conversion runs entirely inside your own browser using a local audio encoder. The video is not uploaded to a conversion service, and the resulting MP3 is created on your device and never reaches our servers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which parts of the downloader are actually used — how many links are submitted, how many resolve successfully, and whether people save the MP4 or convert it to MP3. Google's advertising features and Google signals are switched off on this property, so none of it feeds ad personalisation or remarketing.

The events describe the shape of what happened, never its content. The link you paste is not sent to Google, and neither is the caption or the creator's username. A typical event says no more than: a video link was submitted from the hero form, it resolved in 900 ms, the video was 1080×1920, and an MP4 was saved.

Cookies

The downloader needs no cookie to work and sets no advertising cookie. Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, holding a randomly generated number that distinguishes a returning visit from a new one. Blocking them — or using any content blocker — turns analytics off and leaves every download feature working exactly as before.

Third-party services

Resolving a public TikTok link requires a media-resolution provider, which receives the URL you submit — but not your IP address or any identifier of you. Media files are then fetched directly from TikTok's own content delivery network. Google Analytics, described above, receives usage events and your IP address.

Your responsibilities

Only download content you own or have permission to use. Copyright rules vary by country, and you are responsible for how you use anything you save.
